Vira da Vinha

This is the first work of my new suite for Toy Piano, “Portuguese Scenes”, and it is dedicated to the people of Casal de Loivos, a village in the north of Portugal, in the Douro Valley, the place where the famous Porto Wine is made. People work hard to take care and harvest the grape vines. The Douro Valley is also known for its amazing landscape with unique characteristics and climate.

The Vira is a typical Portuguese dance, in ternary tempo, with a strong beat in the third tempo.

You can find the musical score in here.
